Assessment And Countermeasure Study Of Coal-based Methanol Cleaner Production Based On Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

With detailed investigation and analysis of the production process based on the principle of LCA, a cleaner production indicator system of the coal-based methanol industry is proposed. Based on the results, an assessment is finished. The analysis shows that the environmental impacts of coal-based methanol industry are serious, especially to the greenhouse effect. By using the cleaner production technique, the level of cleaner production can be improved.At last, the below conclusion can be gained:1. The clean production of the case meets the good standard.2. the clean production level can be improved by recycling the steam power.3. The environmental load can be reduced dramatically by the utilization of end gas.4. The coal-based methanol and related industries can’t be got sustainable development unless it can be integrated into ecological industrial parks.
