The past 30 years, with the gradual implementation of reform and opening up and China’s western development strategy, per capital living expenses of the households of herdsmen in Inner Mongolia gains a series of changes in the amount and structure, showing a continuous development of an upward trend.This paper takes the level of herdsmen consumption in Inner Mongolia as the research object, use typical survey gains data, a large number of empirical data, facts applied for analysis and description of the objective facts which learned in the use of econometrics, macro and micro economics, economics research methodology and theoretical knowledge. Classified the factors affecting Inner Mongolia herdsmen consumption and analyzed to find the common factors affecting consumer; by means of SPSS software for data and testing, to determine the main factors affecting the consumption of Inner Mongolia herdsmen, and eventually draw the following conclusions:(1)The overall level of pastoral life has been significantly improved, pastoralists consumption showed a rapid growth trend. Growth from 577.1 yuan in 1988 to 7546 yuan in 2012, an increase of 6968.4 yuan, an increase of 12 times, an average annual increase of 580.7 yuan.(2)Pastoral consumption structure has been optimized. Food, clothing, household equipment and services spending in the proportion of consumption expenditures of a continuous downward trend, while living, health care, transportation, telecommunications, sports and entertainment products and services and other goods and services expenditure Consumption Expenditure The proportion showed significant growth trend. The biggest drop in food consumption, the largest increase in transportation and communication. The monetary consumption has become the main consumer, the herders monetary spending is increasing year by year, the herders increasingly rely on market transactions to meet their own needs. The herders consumption level has been upgraded from the stage to meet survival needs for the enjoyment and development needs to meet the stage.(3)Herdsmen in Inner Mongolia family Engel coefficient (EC) decreased from 0.48 in 1987 to 0.308 in 2012, dropped 17.2 percent. Description Inner Mongolia herders consumption level from the last stage of food and clothing, the wealthy state.(4)The impact of the consumption of Inner Mongolia herders water and electricity is not convenient, savings, transportation is not convenient, poor service, poor shopping environment. Income level of the impact is moderate, rather than consumer loans, and do not want to buy high-end products, the products can not meet the demand, unstable income and other factors does not belong to the consumption of the main factors to affect the herders of Inner Mongolia.(5)Attribute 10 factors affected the herdsmen consumption in Inner Mongolia to three categories, namely life location of infrastructure and consumer environment, current purchasing power and consumer attitudes. Live location of infrastructure and consumer environment herders consumption the greatest impact, followed by the current purchasing power, consumption conception got the minimum effect to the herdsmen consumption in Inner Mongolia.
