Study On The Consumption Of Urban Residents Of Liaoning Province Based On Keynes Consumption Function Theory

Consumption is the purpose of production, but also the end and the beginning of social production process. In order to realize the rising level of consumption desire, Human have the strong power of the development of productive forces. A while back, especially after 2003, in pursuit of the growth of GDP, the government has taken some measures like increase investment, monetary easing and so on, which makes for a period of time to maintain a high growth rate of GDP, however, such a high growth maybe not normal. In 2014 May, Xi Jin ping general secretary put forward the economic "new normal," the new normal, means do not pursuit of the speed of GDP growth excessively, the government should pay more attention to the quality of GDP. As the one of three carriages, which pulling GDP, the consumption is the most important, is also the new growth point that promote economic development. Therefore, to make economic development better and faster, how to improve the level of consumption, improve the consumption structure has become an urgent and important new issue.This paper will take the consumption of urban residents of Liaoning Province as the study object, First analyzes the change trend of the level of consumption of urban residents in Liaoning province in recent years, and the change trend of consumption structure, And compared with the national average level and other provinces and cities, compared with cities in Liaoning province. Then find out the possible factors that will influence the consumption of urban residents in Liaoning Province, and then empirical analysis for the selecting representative the influence factors. Finally base the analysis above, find out the existing problems and its reasons of the consumption of urban residents in Liaoning province, then put forward feasible policy suggestion according to the current situation.Through the research and analysis of this paper found that, Liaoning Province as an important old industrial base of the northeast three provinces, in recent years the consumption level has been improved, higher than the national average level, However, compared with other domestic developed provinces and cities, there is still a certain gap, the consumption structure also need to be improved. Investigate its reason, the urban residents in Liaoning province have the conservative ideas, have the habits of savings and cautious to consumption, all of above affect the consumption level. And empirical analysis found that the discretionary spending income impact the consumption of residents mostly. therefore, increase the disposable income of residents, increase government and social security subsidies, improve the education level of residents and so became an important measure.
