Line Density And Efficiency Research Of China Airline Industry

Entering the 21st Century, Airlines gradually grows and plays a much more important role in Chinese public transportation system. The rapid progress of the airlines, as a result of development, forms the Hub-centered network of Chinese aviation as well as the fine management in the field. Main airline companies in China take advantage of the Hub-centered network so as to increase market share and revenue.This paper focuses on the history of Hub-centered network in the airline field in China, investigating the strength and weakness of such network. On basis of the Hub-centered network theory, the paper also provides China Eastern Airlines, one of the Three Main Airlines in China, with a feasibility that it should run a Dual-Hub system. On building such a system, it is most important to research into the line density and efficiency and this is the main opinion of this paper.
