| Sense of place analyze the relationship between human and place from the perspective of humanity. Residents’sense of place acts on the attitude to local tourism development. Jiangping town located in the border area, inhabited the cross-border ethnic, Jing, with a special historical and cultural background. Residents under the influence of Jing marine culture, so that developed the local special man-land relationship.This paper based on the relationship between human and place, reviews and summarizes the related research of sense of place. Understanding comprehensively of the natural environment, social culture(especially the Jing marine culture), actual economic condition, and actual economic condition in Jiangping town. Using a variety of methods, like field research, the questionnaire distributed, and interview, combined with the theory of sense of place, social exchange, and tourist area life cycle, discusses Jiangping town residents’sense of place and the influence on attitude to tourism.In oder to achieve the research target, this paper combining previous research results and measuring questionnaire to design measurement questionnaire of sense of place. Then validate the three dimensionalities of sense of plce of border tourism destination:place identify, place dependence, and place attachment, and six measures of observation which makes each sense of place difference. And using the structural equation model, verify that the border residents under the mediation role of sense of place in the tourism impact has a positive influence on tourism development support. And also found that the dimension of sense of place on the degree of effect size sense of place in the order:place identify> place dependence> place attachment,but only place dependence dimensions has a significant positive influence on tourism development support.Based on the above research, this paper put forward the suggestionto to improve the Jiangping town residents’sense of place. Hope to provide new ideas to improve the community participation enthusiasm, to promote the further development of local rural tourism, to promote the local tourism industry and other industries, and to better inheritance jing Marine culture. |
