The establishment of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area officially completed on January 1 ,2010. This is a free trade zone which is composed by 1.9 billion citizens and developing cou ntries, and its completion will have a significant impact on the development of economic and t rade relations between China and ASEAN. They share the common interests, their mutual rel ations have a solid foundation for the development of an urgent request and the huge potential for economic growth. In the current situation, the strengthening of regional cooperation, pro mote regional economic integration is the common needs of China and ASEAN countries, in 1 ine with the current trend of economic development. At present, the mining enterprises in Chi na and ASEAN countries actively carry out investment cooperation in the field of mining, the successful implementation of a number of mineral exploration and development projects, pro mote the transformation of the economic advantages of the host country resources, and promo te mutual benefit between China and ASEAN in the mining industry together.Mining cooperation between China-ASEAN has a long history. There are many Chinese entrepreneurs to invest in the local mining industry in countries, such as Vietnam, Laos, Cam bodia, Burma and other countries.As the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area fully completed, th eir domestic market will be enriched greatly by China and ASEAN countries complementary t rade, China-ASEAN Free Trade arising from trade liberalisation and investment facilitation, not only greatly reduce the cost of the mineral energy trade between the two sides, and to redu ce the barriers to energy exploration and development of each other, it will lead the developm ent of the ASEAN Economic Community.In recent years, China has become the largest trading partner of ASEAN; ASEAN is China’s fourth largest trading partner. China and ASEAN Mining Cooperation are the best way to regulate the allocation of resources. With the mining cooperative mode, laws and regulations has improved, the s cooperation in mining between China and ASEAN countries will be tremendous potential for development.
