This paper mainly studies the marketing strategy of new media of rural tourism. With the advent of the era of new media and the vigorous development of rural tourism,If rural tourism want to foothold in the fierce market competition,It must use the power of the new media for marketing. This paper first describes the background and significance of research, methods and status at home and abroad, illustrates the necessity of research about marketing strategy of new media of rural tourism; The second chapter summarized the characteristics and the concept of the rural tourism and new media respectively,on the basis of research of them both at home and abroad, and introduces the several kinds of marketing theory, draws on rural tourism marketing theory should be the direction of 4 p theory; The third chapter expounds the rural tourism elements and the role of new media marketing, organic, tourists and new media constitute the three elements of the marketing, and the role of marketing is to promote rural tourism brand, expand rural tourism product sales and promotion of rural folk culture; The fourth chapter analyzes the problems of rural tourism under the background of new media in our country, points out the main problem is the backward of management’s concept and marketing "s concept, the former t performances in the lack of brand promotion and product design, the latter performances in the backward of marketing mode and single marketing content; The fifth chapter summarizes the new media marketing strategy of rural tourism on the basis of four previous chaptes hould be:product strategy, brand strategy, channel strategy, promotion strategy and service strategy, and expounds the major strategies in detailis; The content of the sixth chapter summarizes the whole article, and points out the deficiency of the article.
