With growing fierce competition among native corporations, setting up brand, building brand relation associations and promoting brand capital have become a corporation’s long-term development goal. Physical sports, which is considered as a global language like music has following features, such as competitive, appreciative as well as cultural. In addition, compared with other human activities, sports activity is the most popular. Thus, sports activity has been the best media for the development of corporation brand. Since sports activities become more and more popular and sports marketing takes its way into the market, a growing number of corporations advertise their brands with the help of sports events. At present, when it comes to global economic developments, sports have already become an emerging focus.A great many corporations want to fulfill their purpose of improving their brand capital by the attraction of sports events. In all the marketing industries, Coca Cola has become one of the most successful corporations in applying sports marketing. Its bottle suppliers can be found throughout the world. Take Coca Cola Hunan branch as my research object, And the research methods include collecting and sorting out bibliography and data about sports marketing and brand capital, to be exact, the thesis explain the direct relations between sports marketing effects and brand popularity, after face to face talking with its branch managers on sports marketing and collecting their official data which draws a conclusion that effective sports marketing strategies contribute brand popularity and product promotion, which provides reference and experience on how to carry out the sports marketing for other corporations. But I don’t have many experiences in researching how to carry out the sports marketing for corporation, therefore I will continue learning in the future.
