With the global climate change, countries all over the world have pay great attention to energy conservation, emission reduction and environmental production, while it’s not merely a pure moral performance but a productivity to achieve sustainable development for enterprises concerning and implementing the environmental responsibility by being in line with the international market. From the macroscopic views, this paper analyzes Chinese textile industry’s export, energy conservation and consumption reduction. And from the microscopic views, it analyzes the correlativity between export and factors like the enterprises’heterogeneity, environment responsibility, technological innovation, as well as productivity of listed companies in textile industry. From the two angles above, there comes the conclusion that implementing CER, responding to the energy conservation and emissions reduction actively is in favor of enhancing Chinese textile and apparel industry’s trading competitiveness, especially in regard to sustainability. Thus, the paper puts forward some corresponding countermeasures to enhance the implementation of CER in China. This paper is divided into five chapters, while chapter3-5has been set as the core part.Chapter1is an introduction, describes the background and significance of the topic, technology route and basic framework of the article, research methods and innovation strengths of this paper as well as its deficiencies.Chapter2reviews the related study literature and the theory of corporate citizenship and heterogeneous firm trade theory, so as to lay the theoretical foundation for the following analysis.Chapter3analyzes the implementation of CER for enterprises impact on China’s textile exporting from the eye of theoretic. Since the implementation of environmental responsibility has an obvious lag to do the deed, the paper analyzes the effects in the short-term, mid-term and long-term. Implementing CER may have a negative effect on export in the short-term while in the long run effect may turn to be positive.Chapter4uses panel data model to analyze the relation between the CER for the listed companies, productivity of the whole textile industry and its exporting performance. The result of this model indicates that there is a positive correlation between the CER, technology innovation and productivity of listed textile companies and their exporting, which is consistent with the paper’s expectation. And the system, the important factor is found that affecting the implementation of CER in the subsequent interpretation to the results.Chapter5is a summary and puts forward some policy recommendation to promote CER:As the facilitation of CER to textile’s export, the government and industry association must give full play to motivate and lead the enterprises to perform the CER.
