The theme "Unleashing Innovative Ability, Connecting World Market" of2013Summer Davos has attracted a wide spread attention and discussion. Actually, as globalization and integration is developing in depth recent years, the contacts become more and more closer among countries, regions, enterprises and people. Among them, the enterprises must be prepared to adjust their development directions to the rapidly changing marketplace as the main body in the society economy activity. Therefore, the development of modern enterprise can no longer rely on extensive, simple and self-sufficient pattern. With the rapid advancement of information and technology, the focus of modern enterprise competition has changed from qualitative to qualitative. As core competence of enterprises, innovation is the powerful driving force which wins enterprise a place in the fierce modern competition. Anyhow, the close connections of modern society provide the necessary conditions for enterprise innovation which cannot be developed by an enterprise itself.Based on the developing trend, this paper studies Inter-organizational Guanxi to discuss its influence on enterprise performance. In studies in the relationship between Inter-organizational Guanxi and enterprise performance, the paper finds knowledge and information have an important effect on enterprise performance improvement because of its special character. On the other hand, Inter-qrganizational Guanxi serves as an important platform of transferring knowledge and information efficiently among different organizations. Hence, based on its character, knowledge and information is assumed to be an important medium between Inter-organizational Guanxi and enterprise performance to study the interaction among the above variables.The paper proposes relevant theoretical assumptions which are empirically studied based on analyzing the validated scale of previous literature. After getting credible pretest results, sample size is enlarged to get formal research data by issuing and collecting questionnaires. Targeted for general and senior manager in enterprises,300questionnaires were altogether sent out by online survey and personal interview,223werecollected,19invalid questionnaires were excluded, finally204were effective. Through data analysis by SPSS, we came to some conclusions of this paper: Inter-organizational Guanxi has a positive influence on enterprise performance in which process knowledge-sharing acts as a mediator.On the basis of the theory and the research results, this paper proves that Inter-organizational Guanxi plays a unique and significant role on enterprise performance. According to the existing situation and related influence factors, some management suggestions are proposed to promote the effect of Inter-organizational Guanxi which also may provide reference for improving enterprise performance from this perspective.
