Modern, large-scale, standardization has always been our egg industry development goals, thecurrent province of laying hens industrial sector has yet to be developed, this paper, the main producingareas in Hebei hens-Gaocheng example, from large-scale farming of laying hens and eggs ofcirculation conducted a comprehensive survey to provide further reference for the province hensindustrial scale, modernized.Through this research on Gaocheng15towns visits, collected1,282farms(households) information, the total amount of4,602,970population, the average herd3590.Thefindings are as follows:1.The average herd of farmersThe township farmers breeding stock the highest average is the West Town5284(Zone only twofarms, not representative), the lowest is Hung Yen town2228.2. Farming ScaleIn1282farming units, the layer farm scale farming is less than5000’s total of1,000, accountingfor78.01%of the total farming households. Scale farming in which the highest number of householdsfrom2000to2999, and was398, accounting for31.05%. Million more than large farms accounted forless than5%.3.Breeding timeBreeding time in more than five years accounted for74.59%, and with the growth of aquaculturetime farming has increased, but the increase marginally. Visible through the market’s self-regulationlaying hens slow, farmers frequently enter and exit the market volatility caused by industry.4.BroodIn the966valid survey data, the number of households own brood reached944, accounting for97.72%. Relatively low degree of specialization.5.Satisfaction farmingValid data in797respondents, the satisfaction of laying hens industry has only191, or about24%.6.Whether to continue operatingIn the797valid data surveyed in the next five years to continue operating there750, accounting for94.10%.7.Scale up or downIn the797valid respondents in the data,48.43%of the farmers choose to maintain the status quoand willing to expand the scale of farming accounted for28.36%. 8.Business license and certificate of vaccination conditionsIn the829valid data, have a business license breeding (farm) is only18households, accounting for2.17%; do not have a business license accounted for97.83%; animal epidemic prevention certificate of11, accounting for1.33percent.9.Mode of operationIn the966respondents, independent operators reached931, accounting for96.34%.10.Egg salesFrom the egg distribution and sales point of view, no business license, operating independentlyaccounted for the majority. Brand awareness of farmers has not formed, there is no independent abilityto sell eggs, traders buyout is still the main way of selling.By farming methods and scale limitations, farmers in selling products on the whole do not have the bargaining initiative. Small-scale, large groupsof existing farming methods also caused a fierce competition between farmers.Comprehensive survey data analysis, advanced breeding patterns rely solely on publicity andsupport, can not make these developments earlier, the old farm-dominated areas to scaleindustrialization. We should proceed from reality, and effectively solve problems facing farmers inorder to build an integrated sales model driven development of aquaculture model is a good direction.
