Since reform and opening, the pig industry has been rapidlydeveloping, Pig production is changing from thousands small scale, self-feeding typeto large-scale, specialized, intensive, commercial development of modern farmingmethods. How to make stronger pig production by different type of large-scalefarming in order to develop cropping industry and food processing industry, and bringbenefit to farmers and the whole province, is the most important thing in this criticalperiod of transition.In recent years, the development of the hog has been hindered in HeilongjiangProvince, people’s lives and farmer’s incomes have been seriously affected because offrequently fluctuated in the market, even society is unstable by it. Mainly reasons offluctuation rested with the high proportion of the small farmers, which are low-scaleand unplanned for production, especially, all of the farmer produce more pigs underthe high price of pig, however the producers quickly disappeared when the price islow, so it leads the hog exacerbated. As the same time there are some of issues in theproduction process, which everely restricted the hog breeding industry’s sustained andhealthy development, in order to reduce undulation of hog market and keepstabilization of farmers income, as well as to solve problems in hog, the effective wayis to conduct large-scale farming, so it requires the government of HeilongjiangProvince should promote large-scale farming,and lead farmers to chance production’sway, in order to promote breeding of hog in Heilongjiang and ensure stable supply ofpork market.This article proves through in-depth survey of Heilongjiang agriculturalinstitutions and household farmers to get original information.
