Present Situation And Development Strategy Of Flower Industry In Huzhou City Of Zhejiang Province

With the development of economy, people’s living quality, ideological quality and social quality is improved. Floral products become people daily life need, it promote the development of flower industry. Now floral industry is important to improve the living and ecological environment, and is one of the main ways to adjust the agricultural structure, increase farmers’ income.2007, the world flower planting area was1341100hm2, the output value reached44.02billion euros. Flower industry is the world’s agricultural export pillar industry in many countries and regions. Production and trade of flora in the world is extremely uneven, production of floral is mainly formed in Holland, Columbia and Japan these three flower production areas; consumption market is mainly in the developed area such as EU, USA and Japan.Since1998, Huzhou have a good momentum of development of flower industry, a number of flower base, flowers leading enterprises and landscaping companies were formed.In the coastal areas of East China, the amount of flower consumption demand is big, and has the increasing trend, especially in recent years, Zhejiang provincial government has launched the "beautiful country" of construction,"three sides" of action, which gave an opportunity of the development of flower industry in Huzhou.Huzhou has many advantages and favorable conditions for the development of flower industry, has important implications for the development of flower industry in Huzhou.In this paper, by investigation of Huzhou flower industry development course, present situation, development advantages, restricting factors, the existence of flower industry development in Huzhou problems were found as follow:the unreasonable industrial structure; mode of production is backward; the service system is not perfect; transportation cost, land rent and wages and other production costs increase.In view of the existing problems, the following five suggestions were provided:strengthen Huzhou flower industry science and technology innovation, improve industrial competitive force; optimize the industrial structure, improve the industry’s overall level of development; improve the circulation system, broaden the shipping market space; promote the flower culture, and enhance the development of content industry; policy support, and promote sound and rapid development of industry.
