Studies On The Present Situation And Prospect Of Shanghai Flower Industry

With the improvement of living conditions and cultural life of Shanghai citizens, expenditure of flowers surgered up in Shanghai and expenditure quantity per capita topped No. 1 countrywide. Nowadays flower industry is playing a more and more important role in environmental green, ecological improvement, adjustment of agricultural industry structure and increase of farmers' income. It has also been a prospective rising sun industry and a new economic growth point. Shanghai flower industry came into being under the Tide. Howerver, flower production hardly breaks away from traditional planting mode, and there exists many problems such as little scale production, under-developed productin means, technical low level of products. Despite flower expenditure tends to increase, low expenditure limits the development of flower industry due to backward consumption concept and low income. With the establishment of flower market, flower began to circulate in many large flower trade center where advanced trade forms were adopted. On the basis of lessons of flower industry abroad, production,expenditure and circulation were studied and the present situation was analyzed. Mang factors limiting flower industry propect of flower industry was evaluated. The research is of great significance to boost of Healthy Development of Shanghai flower industry.
