| As an emerging industry, tourism has the characteristic of high correlation with other industries, low resource consumption, and high comprehensive benefits. In21st century, tourism plays an increasingly important role in the national economy. Meanwhile, Chinese high-speed railway develops fast. Its network is under construction. With the rapid development of Chinese high-speed rail, it has become a hot issue that how the HSR affects the tourism and how the travel industry makes full use of the high-speed rail resources.Through domestic literature study, most of them focus on macro and strategic research, while few of them focus on micro and quantitative study. The research on influence mechanism is almost blank. So the study on high-speed rail and tourism spatial structure theoretically and empirically is of great significance.The research problem is the effect that Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed rail has impact on its regional tourism spatial structure, including three minor issues. The first one is to verify Wu-Guang high speed rail has an impact on regional tourism development. The second one is to study the influence mechanism from both travel demand and tourism supply aspects. The third one is to explore the evolution of regional tourism spatial structure, under the impetus of Wu-Guang high-speed rail. With the method of comparison, regression analysis, statistical indicators and model analysis, the main contents and conclusions of this paper are as follows.Firstly, opening of the Wu-Guang high-speed rail is an important factor, although there are a lot of factors affecting the regional tourism. The impact is verified. I collected a large amount of data required for the research through12306rail web site, ten cities’government tourism network, the social development bulletins from2004to2013year, and so on.Based on the collected data and economic analysis method, I chose high speed rail as variable for multiple linear return analysis. The result proved that Wu-Guang high speed rail had an impact on the regional tourism development and the effects were different to different scale of city.Secondly, the mechanism of high-speed rail on the regional tourism spatial structure is analyzed from the tourism demand and supply two angles. From tourism demand, first of all, high-speed rail changed the transportation costs and influenced the choice of tourists. Furthermore, the tourist market was expanded. The structure of tourist market was optimized. At last, the high-speed railway brought about the effects of same city, which lead to the promotion of short-term tourism and weekend travel needs. From the perspective of tourism supply, the role of high-speed rail in the tourism spatial structure mainly includes three aspects. One is to enhance the regional accessibility, the second is to speed up the flow of industrial elements in the region, and the third is to promote the tourist attraction.Lastly, the Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed rail plays a preliminary role in the evolution of regional tourism spatial structure. Based on the "point-axis" system theory, I selected three time points:not in service (2008year), in service (2013year) and the completion of "four longitudinal and four cross" high-speed rail network (2020year).So the tourism spatial structure has evolved from dot pattern to chain-like pattern, and will continue evolving to network-like tourism spatial structure through analysis. Before the open of Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway, the resources distribution was significantly different. The rich tourism resources node formed a tourism growth pole, and gradually became the dot pattern tourism spatial structure. After the open of Wu-Guang high-speed railway, tourism traffic axis formatted. The advantage of secondary tourism node upgraded. The tourism spatial structure gradually formed a chain model. Finally, the perfect high-speed rail network will bring the network-like tourism spatial structure. |
