Traffic, as an important part of the tourism system, is the essential prerequisite of tourism development. The improvement of traffic has a profound impact on tourism economic development, which can lead to the reconstruction and the evolution of the spatial pattern of regional tourism. The high-speed railway is an important sign of "transportation revolution". The most direct impact of the city tourism economic development, which are along the high-speed railway, is reducing the temporal and spatial distance between regions and enhancing inter-regional traffic accessibility. Then improve the interaction of the regional tourism economic ties and the strength of space. The cities along Shanghai-Nanjing high-speed rail are located in Chinese most economically developed areas-Yangtze River Delta region, which has many China Excellent Tourism City and rich tourism resources. Though the impact analysis of the city along Shanghai-Nanjing high-speed rail on economic impact and spatial structure,This paper takes tourism economic data of cities along the Shanghai-Nanjing high-speed rail and six cities’time of commissioning before and after the opening of the high-speed rail as examples, analyse the total economy, the strength of economic ties, time distance, accessibility and spatial structure changes to illustrate the impact of high-speed rail along the city tourism development, using Excel、MatLab、ArcGIS. CorelDRAW. The results are as follows:(1)High-speed rail dramatically increase the city’s total tourism economy. While Shanghai-Nanjing high-speed railway in use, there is a great increase in the number of tourists, but smaller increase in per capita spending. Shanghai’s total tourism economic indicators have a substantial growth; Suzhou inbound tourism indicators show a significant growth; Wuxi’s growth rate of domestic tourism indicators decline, while the growth rate of inbound tourism indicators rise; Changzhou’s total economic output indicators gently rise; Zhenjiang’s growth rate of total economic output indicators decline; Nanjing’s inbound tourism indicators show an significant growth.(2)High-speed rail along the city tourism economic strength presenting the second propulsion mode. After the opening of the Shanghai-Nanjing high-speed railway, the tourism economy of the six cities along the overall strength of association greatly improved. Tourism economic ties, regional differences, the space was "strong west to east trend. Suzhou, Wuxi and Shanghai and other cities tourism economic ties, but the strength of association larger changes in Changzhou, Wuxi and Shanghai.(3)High-speed rail substantial optimization of the cities along the tourism economy "point-axis" axis. Shanghai-Nanjing high-speed rail along the city accessibility horizontal space is more evenly distributed in space on the basic performance of for intermediate cities accessibility high, low peripheral urban accessibility. After Shanghai-Nanjing high-speed railway is opened, the city up to a shorter time, one hour and half-hour when the ring range is expanding out along the high-speed rail. A City Circle has been formed, which consisted of Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou and Zhenjiang. The up time of the areas close to the center of cities becomes smaller. Cities along the weighted time value significantly less, the reachability of the node cities in becoming less and less space to peripheral cities from Zhenjiang reachability; Urban location advantage of the potential value of a dramatic rise in the gradual strengthening of the role of urban space, the space from Wuxi to the the peripheral urban potential value gradually decreases, showing similar changes in the concentric circles.(4)The high-speed rail Optimize cities’tourism network structure. The contact of the Shanghai-Nanjing high-speed railway promotes the development of regional business travel center. Shanghai, Suzhou and Nanjing will generate more economic and cultural exchanges, and generate more business travel, which become Business Tourism Centre. Shanghai-Nanjing high-speed rail makes Nanjing tourist traffic significantly reduce the cost. In the long-haul travel market, Nanjing has significant development potential. The reduction of time cost provide the agglomeration advantages to Nanjing, which are accumulation of capital, technology and other industries, then the tourism market structure was further optimized. Suzhou is a node of Shanghai-Nanjing high-speed railway, whose convenient transportation is relatively high, and has more distribution advantage. Suzhou will become the tourist center of the region, whose potential of tourism resources, services, facilities and transport facilities will be further development; Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou and Zhenjiang and other nodes along the Shanghai-Nanjing high-speed railway get direct contact of Shanghai and Nanjing. And these cities become a city tourism circle, which will be developed into a regional tourism sites. However, convenient transportation elements of industry agglomeration, the need to avoid the same qualitative phenomenon, the development of specialized, differentiated tourism products.
