Research On The Application Of R-MES In The Center Of Heat Treatment And Surface Treatment Of A Certain Coporation

As the bridge of connecting the planning and managing layer and the facility control layer, Manufacturing Executive System (MES) plays more and more important role in manufacturing enterprises. Manufacturing Executive System (MES) technology is powerful in process management. Taking advantage of Manufacturing Executive System (MES) inworkshop, business process can be executed more smoothly, and work efficiency can be improved.Firstly, this paper set forth the basic conception and development of the MES, analyses the current situation and problem of a certain corporation, and illuminates the requirement of applying MES in the Center of Heat Treatment and Surface Treatment of a certain Corporation. Based on the Manufacturing Executive System of the Center of Heat Treatment and Surface Treatment (R-MES), from the aspects of business requirement analysis, function design, process reengineering, implementation and application, effect has been made in specific function design and applying research of production plan and data management, products remove management, APS plan, mission assignment, tool and racking management, workshop data collection, production control, quality management, tank management, report forms management, system integration. The principal activites and conclusion are obtained in this paper as follows.(1) The R-MES is developed to meet the requirement of the workshop, which is baesd the analysis of the current situation and problem of a certain corporation.(2) By the business requirement analysis of the workshop, function designation and process reengineering of eleven projects have done.(3) The production efficiency, production capacity and rate of equipment utilization are enhanced, by the effective use of MES in the Center of Heat Treatment and Surface Treatment of a certain Corporation. As a result, the main economic index such as industrial gross output value and profit gain a growth; the income of workshop staff is increasing. The R-MES can meet the management requirerment and improve the scientific research&production efficiency has been illustrated. The result has validated the availability of the MES.
