The Influence Of Residential Consumption Structure Change On Energy Consumption:

At present, Chinese economic structure into the depth adjustment stage, economic development goals focus on structure and quality. How to maintaining moderate economic growth at the same time, reduce energy consumption and pollution emissions, has become a hot discussion topics of the theoretical circle. Final consumption activity as the terminal energy consumption and has decisive effect on energy consumption. However, studies of energy consumption is mainly concentrated in industrial areas, to the consumer terminal discussion is relatively small. This paper based on input-output technology, at the core of the thought, from the perspective of "embodied energy", by measuring the direct and indirect consumption coefficient of final consumption, quantitative analysis of the influence of final consumption for the energy consumption mechanism, and through the scenario assumptions, empirical analysis of the influence factors of energy consumption caused by the residential consumption. Then get the following conclusions:Firstly, the direct energy consumption of china residential consumption is approximately22%of the total energy consumption averagely; Residential consumption indirectly than the total energy consumption accounts for an average of about78%.That residential consumption behavior of indirect energy consumption is the main factors causing the consumption of energy production and consumption demand. Therefore, focusing on residential consumption activities of direct energy consumption, at the same times, we should pay more attention to the final consumer activity of indirect energy consumption.Secondly, by analyzing the urban and rural residents in China directly and completely energy consumption of the empirical results, we concluded that China’s urban and rural residential consumption of energy consumption has obvious difference. On average, the energy direct consumption of urban residential consumption is about3.4times that of rural residents, and the energy indirect consumption of urban residential consumption is about3.5times that of rural residents. So this paper argues that Chinese longstanding different urban and rural social structure is the main influence factors. Thirdly, from the longitudinal comparison, nearly10years, the energy consumption of residents in our country is in increasing trend. Residents in our country fully energy consumption in2010is about2times of the energy consumption of residents in2002fully. The empirical results show that the consumption of the energy consumption of residents in our country the main subject to social economic development level and people’s income level; In addition, the residential consumption structure has a great influence to energy consumption as well.Finally, by case scenarios assumptions, this paper empirical analyses the factors affecting the energy consumption of residential consumption. Macro level, the economic structure caused by factors for residential consumption has certain influence energy consumption; Micro level, the influence of residential consumption structure change to energy consumption is very significant. In addition, technological factor for residential consumption caused by energy consumption has a significant impact.
