How to effectively improve inventory management, minimizing human resources, material and financial resources to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises has become an enterprise survival and development factor.This paper firstly introduces the domestic and overseas status of parts inventory optimization research. And the basic theory of inventory optimization is also explained in this paper. Questions on the situation of BBF Automotive Company parts inventory management are raised and carefully analyzed. Relocation plan of suppliers is implemented based on JIT advantages, the JIT inventory management of some key parts is achieved. Based on ABC classification control theory, the inventory management situation of small pieces material storage area is analyzed and studied, which greatly improves the work efficiency of small pieces storage area and the rate space utilization.
