As the core of enterprise human capital, Enterprise top management responsible formaking enterprise development strategy and improve the enterprise performance. In theenterprise development strategy, Enterprise top management by Managerial cognitioninfluence enterprise strategic behavior. Therefor, this paper is based on the Upper echelonstheory and Strategic change theory, researching the influence of Enterprise top managements’Managerial cognition to Strategic behavior change about the paper-making enterprises.Along with the great changes of domestic and foreign economic situations, the furtheradjustment of national paper-making industrial policy, great changes have taken place in theinternal and external environment of paper-making industry, According to enterprise’s internalcondition and external environment’s influence, it becomes the core competitiveness toenhances enterprise and important guarantee to realizes company’s strategic target. bycombining the theoretical analysis and empirical research, from the Knowledge structure andCognitive structure, this paper creates the hypothesis model about Enterprise topmanagements’ Managerial cognition to influence Enterprise strategic behaviors, and puttingforward the educational background of the Knowledge structure and Cognitive structure basedon the function background will influence the change of Enterprise strategic behavior. Amongthem, the Knowledge structure was measured by professional and higher education; theCognitive structure was measured by serving enterprises and financial occupation background.This paper takes the China paper-making enterprises which appear on the market of Shanghaiand Shenzhen before January1,2014as research subjects, selected20listed companies and386executives as sample, and analysis the data of2003-2013years. On the basis oftheoretical analysis, in this paper, we use EXCEL2007and SPSS17.0software to runDescriptive Statistics Analysis and Regression in order to carry out an empirical study for relationships between the executive team cognition of listed Chinese companies and strategicbehaviors. The study found that the empirical results all support the theoretical hypothesis,and the Managerial cognition, knowledge structure, Cognitive structure and Enterprisestrategic behavior is positive correlated relationship.Finally, according to the results of the empirical analysis, This paper proposed specificrecommendations from Knowledge structure and Cognitive structure to improve theEnterprise top managements’ Managerial cognition who are in the listed companies in order topromote the healthy development of enterprises.
