With the development of market economy in our country and the continuous decreaseof forest resources, forest industry companies face more and more severe forms of business.Considering the mid-level managers are the backbone of the company, they are the core ofenterprise development power, they are the practitioner of specific strategies. They are play akey role in the development of the enterprise and the working effect of mid-level managersdirectly affects the enterprise’s production and operation conditions. In order to make Scompany can continue to flourish in the market competition, must strengthen themanagement of mid-level managers of S company. So, how to conduct performanceevaluation of mid-level managers to improve their performance levels, arouse theirenthusiasm for work, to enable them to play an active role in the production and businessactivities, has become an important task for the human resource management department.This paper takes the performance appraisal of mid-level managers in the coredepartment of S company production system as research object, and divided into six parts.The first chapter is an introduction. Discuss the research background, research purpose andmeaning, research contents and research methods, and domestic and international researchstatus.The second chapter is the introduction of the current situation of the performanceappraisal of mid-level managers in the core department of S company production system.Describe the basic situation of S company and the current situation of performance appraisalof mid-level managers in the core department of S company production system, and adetailed analysis of the existing problems.The third chapter is the construction of the framework of the performance appraisal ofmid-level managers in the core department of S company production system. After a detailedanalysis of the appraisal object performancecharacteristics, determine the principles of assessment, assessment content and assessmentand to develop a process.The fourth chapter is the design of performance evaluation index system ofmid-level managers in the core department of S company production system. Confirm theguiding ideology of the evaluation index, and confirm the content of the evaluation index, design of the weight the evaluation index, confirm the standard of the evaluation index,confirm the cycle of performance evaluation and determine the assessment results.The fifth chapter is the safeguards implementation on the performance appraisal ofmid-level managers in the core department of S company production system. Describe theenterprise assessment concept, construction of supporting system, the management ofperformance appraisal, the use of assessment results and the construction of enterpriseculture.The last part is the conclusion. Systematic review the research process of this paper, andsummarize the research results, and also analyzes the problems in the research and discussthe focus of future research.
