| JZ bank SY branch was established in the September of2009, was thesecond branch of JZ bank in the other city. In the early period from opening,due to the high quality service and flexible operating mode, this branchachieved the effective breakthrough in the business performance, especially inthe development of retail business in the regional market. However, followingthe other city commercial banks enter the SY market, the number of banks andscale of the banks were expanding which lead to the fierce competition in thearea of the retail business which is the most important area for the banks. Inparticular, due to more and more serious in the regulatory environment andunder the condition of speeding up the evolution process of the interest ratemarket, SY branch enhanced the study in the management methods of retailbusiness, to actively adjust the structure and to find the new business modeland the new profit growth point, in order to achieve the new development in theretail business.In this paper, firstly describe the basic theory of the retail business of thebanks.
