Research On Fast Food Safety Regulation In China

With the rapid development of the fast food industry, followed by the frequent food safety incidents, how to solve these problems has become an urgent matter. Fast food safety accidents continue to occur, is both social and economic transformation in transition interest driven social faith and morals lost, it is China’s fast food industry food safety regulatory system problems exposed, reflects the Chinese government on fast food safety regulatory failure. On the regulatory status of fast food industry in our country, there are long supervision, unclear responsibilities, laws and regulations are not perfect, information opaque, standard system establishment is imperfect, light punishment, the supervisory role of the food industry association and consumers did not give full play to such issues. The reason is the indifference of the psychological and social responsibility consciousness of the producers, consumers, government departments. In food safety problems, China should better learn from foreign advanced experience, coordinate the functions of government departments, improve government supervision measures to urge fast food shop to take the corresponding social responsibility. The public participation mechanism, which is the main public participation mechanism, will also play a more and more role in the food safety. In this paper, the recent frequent food safety incidents perspective, using the methods of literature research, case analysis and comparative analysis by comparison with some developed countries, food safety regulatory analysis of the main problems existing in the supervision of our country and improvement direction. Finally, direct how to improve China’s food safety supervision and put forward their views and suggestions.
