With the improvement of daily life, decoration has become an independentindustry. The development of the real estate leads to the prosperity of decorationindustry. In the recent years, the growth rate of the total value of out-put in decorationindustry has been above ten percent. However, the study indicates that the strongdemand of the industry does not mean good gross profit rate. There are too manyfactors that restrict the development of the industry.Kunlun is a developing professional one, and it plays an important role in thedecoration industry in the three northeast provinces of China. In the face ofincreasingly fierce competition in the industry, the company tries to optimize theexisting organizational structure actively, in order to gain the initiative.This article firstly states the background of the decoration industry, and thenintroduces the overall institution of the Kunlun and analyzes the existingorganizational structure. Based on the in-depth comprehension of the company, thisarticle points out the problems of it, that is executive power is weak; responsibility isnot clear; system is not sound and the morale of the staffs is sinking lower.We have sought the theoretical support before solving the problems andsummarize the definition, design considerations, generic types, influence factor andthe optimization methods. According to the principles of the organizational structure,we optimize the existing organizational structure and point out the reasons of thechange. The study states the functions of each department in new organizationalstructure. This can avoid the problems that are led by the unclear responsibility.In order to ensure the operation of the new organizational structure, this articleprovides the corresponding institutional guarantee measures, including enhancing thestaffs’ identity of the organizational values; building human resource managementsystem; cultivating family culture of a company and establishing and perfectinginternal communication mechanism.Our design project not only takes the potential problems into consideration, but also provides the corresponding guarantee measures. Thus it provides the greatestpossibility to ensure the new organizational structure move smoothly. However, wepoint out that any design wants to go for perfect, but problems are unavoidable in theactual using process. So we have to amend it in the future.
