The Value Assessment Of Enterprise Information System

Under the background of the information age, information system has become an indispensable part of the development of enterprises and its construction and application play an important role in companies’ existence and development. Many companies are keen on the investment of information system, but, at the same time, there exist many problems in this project construction. Nowadays, no matter in the developed countries or the developing ones, the construction of information system is not as successful as any other projects. Although more and more money has put into it, the effect is not as good as enterprises expected. Therefore, it has special meaning to give a timely and objective value assessment to the information system. In China, compared to the rapid development of the information industry, the assessment of information system lags far behind. So it is our urgent task about how to realize an accurate assessment of the enterprise’s information system reasonably and effectively, and how to build and perfect China’s value assessment of enterprise’s information system.In the first part, the thesis reviews the related literature and assessment methods of enterprise’s information system and their value assessments, and the author finds out most of the theories and practice on the study of the value of information system at home and abroad majorly adopt multi-index comprehensive evaluation method, but little has been done to the concrete value assessment of enterprise’s information system. On the base of the first part, the thesis makes a cost analysis about enterprise’s information system firstly, which adopts basic methods of assets appraisal to the assessment of the cost input of enterprise’s information system. Through the analysis of the cost of hardware, software, network and annual operating, it builds a corresponding index system. Then, the thesis adopts fuzzy comprehensive analysis method to estimate effectiveness of enterprise’s information system, and correction factor of enterprise’s information system is worked out.In the final part, the thesis takes Factory A of Tebian Electric Apparatus Stock Co. Ltd as a case to analyze the feasibility of the value assessment of enterprise’s information system in details.The thesis adopts an analytical method of combination of theory and practice, and introduces the cost constitution of enterprise’s information system and factors influencing its value. The assessment value of enterprise’s information system is corrected by its influencing factors. Combined the basic assessment method with the quantitative assessment method, the value of enterprise’s information system can be more fully reflected. This is the supplement and perfection to assessment and evaluation method of enterprise’s information system, which enriches assessment system of enterprise’s information system in China and provides assessment basis for construction of enterprise’s information system in the future.
