Study On The Development Of Agricultural Industry Clusters In Shenyang Economic Zone

Agricultural industry clusters contributes to the steady, continuous and rapiddevelopment of economy and the optimal distribution of the agricultural resources atthe same time. Therefore, regionalization in agriculture is formed which will help laysolid foundation for cultivation of more favorable areas and production of leadingproduces. To promote the development of agricultural industry in ShenyangEconomic Zones is a must, which will have a great significance for improving theoverall quality and efficiency of agriculture and for solving the three rural issues inShenyang Economic Zone.Both normative analysis and positive analysis are applied in this thesis,Furthermore, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis are also applied. Based onexperiences both at home and abroad, on-the-spot investigation and distributionindex, the degree of agricultural industry clusters and their problems are analyzed.Suggestions are given accordingly.At present, there exists a reasonable distribution among the agriculturalproduction plants. Therefore, there appeared two agricultural industry clusterslocated in the central areas, Shenyang and the southeast, Fushun and Anshan.However, the agriculture industry clusters in Shenyang Economic Zone are still inthe initial stage. There is a great difference in the degree in production andprocessing of the agricultural produces. The development is extensive and slow.There are some problems existing in agricultural industry clusters in Shenyang. First,the production of agricultural produces takes long while processing takes short time.Second, the different organizations are of different status. Third, the support going tothe development has not been enough. Last, farmers are relatively independent and of dual characters.Based on the problems, suggestions are given as follows. Laws and policiesshould be improved. A commercialized rural service system should be establishedand improved. Institutes which unite the university, government and corporationsshould be established. The agricultural products processing should be developed.The leading enterprises should be given more support. Logistic distribution centershould grow. Marketing system should be promoted.
