Food is the first necessity of the people. The diet culture as a kind of traditional folk culture is an important tourism resource. It can satisfy various demands of people. Fuzhou is located in the east China sea coast of our country, With the mountains on its back and sea-facing. with its unique natural environment and rich product resources, known as the "fortuna’s treasure". Deep excavation and study of Fuzhou diet culture tourism resources can enhance the use of Fuzhou’s cultural brands and promote the sustainabledevelopment of tourism.This paper takes Fuzhou city with local characteristics of the food culture Tourism resources as the object of study. Fistly,comble and analyzes the diet culture tourism resources in Fuzhou City and classify Fuzhou city food culture resource types.Through the questionnaire survey, expert consultation, literature review and the EXCEL software as the method of investigation and data analysis of Fuzhou city food culture cognition and tourists preference. We can kown visitors’ cognition on Fuzhou traditional Food, diet custom and allusions, Foodstreet,old restaurants and like overall impression of Fuzhou food, Fuzhou cuisine type of impression, choice of dining locations will, every meal can accept the price, the preference of tourism development. Finally, the city of Fuzhou diet tourism resources development strategy from the aspects of tourism products, development culture model, spatial layout, business management, marketing, personnel training etc.
