China’s Agricultural Futures Market Development Issues And Countermeasure Research

China is a large agricultural country, business development of agricultural production and related businesses securities have a far-reaching influence on the national economy. It is an important goal of today’s world governments, agricultural producers and agricultural investors to avoid the risk of price fluctuations due to supply and demand imbalances generated by the futures market, the competition for agricultural pricing. Compared with the international futures market, the domestic futures market started late, but has a huge space for development, on the basis of the analysis of the related issues of constraints of the domestic agricultural futures market development. Through the study of international experience in agricultural futures market development, this paper put forward suggestions to promote the development of China’s agricultural futures market, in order to promote the healthy development of agricultural futures and to provide more effective protection for the national economic development and national food security. The main contents are as follows:The first chapter describes the research background, purpose and meaning, reviews the basic theory and its classification, conducted the literature review at home and abroad, and present the research ideas in this paper.The second chapter discusses in detail the formation basis and the operation mechanism of agricultural futures markets, and proposes the three functions in the agricultural futures market-price discovery, risk management and asset allocation functions.The third chapter discusses in detail the current situation and development trend of the world’s major agricultural futures markets from the futures exchange, the major varieties of agricultural futures and trends in world agricultural futures. Based on the drawing on the functioning of the market experience of the agricultural futures markets in developed countries in the world, this chapter summarizes the revelation of the development of the agricultural futures market in developed countries to China from the aspect of the futures market system and the variety of futures launched.The fourth chapter reviews the three processes of the experience of China’s agricultural futures market-start-up, straighten out and standardize the development.based on the detailed status of the domestic futures market of agricultural products, this part discusses in depth the existing problems of agricultural futures markets on the perspectives of the guiding role of the economy, the species listed mechanism and exit mechanism, trading system, trading settlement costs, main market players as well as government regulation and legislationThe fifth chapter on the basis of the previous paper-based study, put forward my suggestions to promote China’s agricultural futures market more healthy and rapid development from the perspectives of government departments, futures exchanges and the main market player.
