Supply chain management as an integrated management for all commercialactivities, plays a pivotal role in the modern business management.There is a view thatthe modern enterprise competition is a competition of supply chain management.Sosupply chain management capabilities has become the overall core element ofcompetition.How to strengthen their supply chain management capabilities andreinforce competitiveness of enterprises become necessary for the company.This study begins from the Sales and Operations Planning system theory,then tofind the specific implementation process and the various processes across theenterprise supply chain management.This study combined the small and mediumbusiness enterprises of business practice together,analyze S&OP in the value andfeasibility area of small and medium business enterprises.We try to seek some specificideas applied for S&OP, and explore the specific application problems for S&OPwhich may appear up in small and medium business enterprises of application.Thestudy made a systematic combing integration of the application point of S&OP forbusiness enterprise supply chain decision-making process,and exploring S&OPapplications in commercial enterprise.S&OP finally resulted in a coordinated andeffective management mechanism in marketing, sales, purchasing, logistics and otheraspects, to promote decision-making processes in the supply chain management ofenterprises to be systematic.This study seeks to provide a high-level decision-making tool of supply chainmanagement and its concrete application method for small and medium businessenterprises.Sales and operations planning(S&OP) is an effective decision-making tool,it is closely corresponding to the implementation of the enterprise business forlogistics, capital flow and information flow requirements.S&OP applications canprovide enterprises a systematic solution in decision-making process,simultaneouslyproviding a standardized sort for commercial enterprise supply chain processes.It gota broad application prospect.This study try to seek corporate decision-making fromthe overall perspective of supply chain.
