Research On Tianmen Agricultural Informatization Construction

Twenty-first Century is a global informatization age, Information technology has changed human access to information. China is a traditional agricultural country, it keeps up with the pace of world development, improves agricultural productivity and accelerates the realization of the transformation from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture by applying the information technology in agriculture. When our countries are implementing the agricultural informatization in the rural grass-roots, various new problems emerge, which need us to explore, research and improve continuously according to the actual construction.Tianmen is the Wuhan city-circle’s three-level center city, we can deep into the China’s rural grass-roots to investigate and analyze the construction of agricultural informatization. This paper studies the actual situation of the development of agricultural informatization in Tianmen. Tianmen has been established agricultural information website, the excellent professional agricultural cooperatives and leading enterprises, advanced informationization model villages, and built a practice base with the South Central University for Nationality. Tianmen’s construction mainly has the following several problems:the government investment is not enough, the farmers’ ability of making use of information technology is weak, the agricultural information is not enough and has poor timeliness, the use of agricultural information is high cost, lack of rural informatization talents in rural grassroots. Then put forward the following suggestions for those questions:strengthen government functions, improve the legal system of agriculture, strengthen the construction of agricultural information websites, improve the scientific and cultural quality of farmers, training and absorb professionals. Finally, make a summary and outlook.
