| Under the background of economic globalization, outward foreign direct investment (OFDI) has surpassed international trade and become the most active factor in the world economic activity. Many scholars home and abroad have made relevant research on one country’s OFDI. At present, most the research results mainly focus on the macro-investing activities in the world economic environment. While, in the background of the close linkage of regional economy, especially the more and more frequent economic association among emerging developing countries, the research on the influential factors of our country’s direct investment to Brazil has practical significance to Chinese enterprises’ practicing the Go Out Policy selectively and specifically.The thesis is divided into five parts. The first part is the introduction. In this part, the author introduces the background of choosing the topic and the research significance, summarizes the domestic and foreign research results, and lays a foundation for the following parts. In the second part, the author introduces the current situation of China’s trade and investment to Brazil. The data presented has made preparations for the coming parts. The third part is the analysis on the cause and environment of China’s direct investment to Brazil. The author clarifies the advantages and disadvantages, the risks and opportunities of China’s direct investment to Brazil in detail. In part four, the author makes empirical analysis on the influential factors of China’s direct investment to Brazil by setting up linear regression models. In part five, on the basis of the above empirical analysis, the author puts forward specific strategies and suggestions on the investment to Brazil.For the first time, Brazil has been set as the investor in the research. The author specifically discusses the analysis of the cause and environment, and analyzes the investing activities to Brazil from the angles of investment district, investment industry, form of investment, etc. Different from the past macro study, this thesis focuses on the concrete details of OFDI activities, chooses the representative economic development data of Brazil, unfolds the empirical analysis by using econometric methods, and thus puts forward questions and have a new sense. |
