Research On Economic Effect Of Foreign Direct Investment

Along with the deepening process of international division labor and economic globalization, foreign direct investment (FDI) plays more and more important role in promoting economic development. However, the lack of a system effectively evaluate on economic effects of foreign direct investment, has affected its positive role to play and healthy development. Discussed these economic effects of FDI separately, or to do so one-dimensional linear superposition on these economic effects of FDI,these research methods, has ignored the multi-objective nature and gray features of economic effects of foreign direct investment system. Therefore, based on literature research, single-effect quantitative analysis, the gray-level analysis and evaluation and other methods, this paper carried out the following studies:(1) Definition and basic model building. Based on the literature research and theme analysis, and comprehensive abstract epitome formation related concept definition;on the basis of fully learn the theory and method at home and abroad of economic effects of FDI, established a conceptual model of the variables, determined the elements of the model and the relationship between the various elements,discussion the theory and methodology of economic effects of FDI in China, established single-effect model of FDI include the capital formation effect, value effect, foreign trade effects, effects of technological progress, industrial structure effect and the employment effects, and on this basis, established a multi-objective and gray scenario evaluation model for the comprehensive economic effects of FDI.(2) Case analysis and empirical study. In its1995-2009statistical data,using E-Views5.0,Matlab7.0analysis software for data exploration, test and verify the validity of the model building in earlier. Then,the result show that FDI of Shenyang could promote its economic development,and provide reference for Shenyang to make evaluat and policy on FDI.(3) Measures system on optimizing the economic effects of FDI.Firstly, supervise and guide, optimize the economic effects of FDI. Inclsecondlyg trade effect; harmonious growth, prudent output effects and so on. Secondly, For overflow and improve the indirect economic effects of FDI. Includes environmental support and strengthen technological spillovers; interactive transformation, promoting industrial effects; enhance absorption and improve the employment effects and so on.
