Research On Economic Effect Of Foreign Direct Investment In Hebei Province

Moving towards globalization of economy together with the speeding-up integration ofinternational capital markets is an outstanding development which taking place during thepast decade. Facing this situation, how to develop the economy of developing andless-developed countries or areas by attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) has arouseddeep concern among the academics. The study objective of this paper is FDI in Hebeiprovince. Characteristics and development of FDI in Hebei in past decades is generallyintroduced. And with the aim to improve FDI quality and structure in Hebei, the economiceffects and the main regional decisive factors were thoroughly analyzed by employing FDI,Economy Growth and Regional Decisive Factors theory, and Economical metrology andModern statistical analysis method are used. After Joining the World Trade Organization, thecountermeasure that Hebei provincial government should perform in Further attracting FDIwere then proposed accordingly. The author of this article wish this research paper could bebeneficial to other middle provinces when they utilizing FDI.
