With the development of economy and society,public, government, business beginsto pay more attention to the fulfilling of corporate social responsibility. Numerousstudies show that to fulfill social responsibility,the corporate will consider her corporateprofitability, corporate performance, company size and business growth and otheraspects about herself. However,China has its special institutional and economicbackground.To think the relevant factors over the market mechanism to fulfill corporatesocial responsibility is not enough.The external institutional environment for corporatebehavior will cause the impact which can not be ignored.Political connections as anexus between business and government, will produce positive and negative corns.Lotsof experts have researched political connections,also many professors have studied thecorporate social responsibility.But few professors have discussed the relation of themWe suppose the mainly reason is the research on political connections of top executivesand corporate social responsibility are relatively late and the weak support of theory hasmade it not easy carry out theoretical analysis and empirical research.So what’s theeffect of political connections to corporate social responsibility.In addition, as internalfactors, many literature shows that the better corporate governance structure couldpromote an enterprise to fulfill social responsibility.Whether different levels ofcorporate governance has impact on political association and the fulfillment ofcorporate social responsibility.For the above questions, this paper attempts to researchintrinsic relationship among political connections, corporate governance and socialresponsibility,to explore whether different ways of political association have differenteffects on corporate social responsibility and Whether internal governance structure willaffect the relationship between political connections and corporate social responsibility.There are six chapters in the paper. Chapter one is introduction: Firstly,introducetopic selection significance. Secondly, summarize the research methods and the thought.Thirdly, put forward the main innovation points.Chapter two—Literature Review.Chapter three—Combined with the characteristics of private enterprises,we define themeaning of political connections,corporate governance,corporate socialresponsibility.Then list Theoretical basis.In Chapter Four, we analysis the relationshipamong political connections,corporate governance and corporate social responsibility,then make hypothesis based on research status.Chapter Five-ExperienceValidation. We use descriptive statistical analysis, correlation test and multipleregression analysis to verify the hypothesis.Through the research,we found that if acorporate that its top executives who are members of People’s Congress or ChinesePeople’s Political Conference will fulfill the social responsibility actively. If a corporatewhich has its top executives who once worked in the government officials,it is unwillingto do more about social responsibility.In addition,the better corporate governance willpromote the corporate which has connection of members of People’s Congress orChinese People’s Political Conference to fulfill social responsibility,also will urge thecorporate which has government officials connection to do social responsibility theyshould do.Chapter six is research conclusion. We review research conclusion, analyzethe policy meaning, illustrate research limit and point out future direction.
