Research On The Development Of YiWu Import And Export Trade Under The Comprehensive Reform Pilot Of International Trade

In order to meet the urgent requirement of great changes of international patternand the objective needs of the China reform deepening, the Chinese governmentauthorized the comprehensive reform pilot of international trade in YiWu (Hereinafterreferred to as the YiWu pilot). The research on YiWu export and import trade underthe YiWu pilot, through analyzing the policy advantages translate into ability ofpromoting export and import trade, it can provide the bases and suggestions to find abreakthrough point for YiWu export and import trade.The article firstly collected and analyzed the documents related to thecomprehensive reform pilot area, the evaluation index system. The trade theory,growth pole theory transaction cost and so on provide the theoretical basis for thearticle, then by using the main methods of theoretical analysis-motivation analysis-status quo analysis-positive analysis to analyze the development of import and exporttrade. Summarizing the characteristics and economic basis of Yiwu pilotestablishment, then analyzing the motivation, progress, the status quo anddevelopment trend of Yiwu pilot. By using time series analysis of YiWu commodityexport price index to understand the development status of YiWu exports in recentyears. Finally in order to further analyze the influence of YiWu pilot to thedevelopment of import and export trade, the paper builds the indicator system ofperformance evaluation.Firstly, the establishment of Yiwu pilot is based on the current situation ofChina’s trade development and the needs of the China reform deepening. The choiceof Yiwu as the pilot is because of the representative and the foundation.Secondly, from the results of time series analysis, the domestic price index lessbe impacted than the export price index by the macroeconomic environment.Reflected in the supply and demand relationship, Import and export demand of YiWuis fluctuating and the competitive not enough.Thirdly, the empirical result shows that domestic demand and international demand are periodic, and the cycle is a year. But, the off-season and season aren’t thesame time. And then, in the cycle, the monthly fluctuation of domestic demand tendsto small, the international demand tends to bigger and bigger.Fourthly, according to the results of the evaluation index system, the policy effectof YiWu pilot is obvious. At the beginning of establishment, the policy has strongstimulations to the YiWu import and export trade. The recent drive action tends togently.
