The development of modern science and technology encouraged enterprises to launch new products constantly, and the new products launch speed and replacement frequency of new products for the old products are accelerated. The product innovation is the lifeblood of enterprises and the main way to enterprise development. The product innovation can not only make the enterprise keep original market advantage, also can open up new markets, enhance the market competitiveness of enterprise product, and make the enterprise keep development vigor.In the paper the product innovation of A group smart television as the research object, the theory systems are expounded firstly by use of literature review method, such as the innovation theory, the technology innovation theory, the product life cycle theory and the enterprise product strategy theory. Then combined with the actual situation of A group smart television product innovation, the current operating conditions of television products, the product development strategy target, the television product survival basic condition, the product innovation basic scheme and implementation process of smart television, it’s the product innovation effect and safeguard measure and so on are comprehensively analyzed and discussed based on the case analysis, porter five analysis, SWOT analysis and other methods. Meanwhile the product development bottleneck of A group television is found and analyzed. Further combing the analysis of cases, the ideas and ways to solve the problem of A group product innovation are found out from the aspects of the product research and development and technological innovation, human resources team building, marketing and promotion.Based on product innovation as the breakthrough point in the paper, the basic countermeasures and suggestions to solve the current product development and innovation problems of A group television are proposed, and the further solving problems of A group new product development are also pointed out. These not only help the product innovation of A group television, but also provide certain reference value for the product innovation of other domestic television enterprises.
