Biopharmaceutical industry is an strategic emerging industry which will be cultivated chiefly and develop during the12th Five-Year dynamic sector of our country, biopharmaceutical companies’ sustainable growth does not only affect the sustainable development of the companies and sustained growth of China’s economic, but is also related to the continuous improvement of the people’s health care level. China’s bio-pharmaceutical companies are mainly of small and medium-sized, and the companies play an important role in the development of the industry. Biopharmaceutical industry is a kind of knowledge and technology-intensive high-tech industry, and has the characteristics of high input, high-yield and high-risk. Consequently, business managers, creditors and investors are all very concerned about the sustainable growth ability of the small and medium-sized biopharmaceutical companies. The optimal allocation of funds is the foundation for biopharmaceutical companies to enhance the sustainable growth ability, therefore, the evaluation and promotion strategies on biopharmaceutical companies’sustainable growth ability from a financial perspective is a problem worthy of study.Based on the internal and external influence factors analysis of small and medium-sized biopharmaceutical companies sustainable growth ability, this paper selects small and medium-sized biopharmaceutical companies’ sustainable growth ability evaluation indicators from financial perspective, takes62small and medium-sized biopharmaceutical companies listed on the SME Board and GEM Board as samples, on the base of their financial data during the year2011, evaluates the sustainable growth ability by the application of factor analysis method, and puts forward corresponding financial strategies according to the main factors derived from the evaluation which affect the sustainable growth of the small and medium-sized biopharmaceutical companies. Finally, selects Beijing SL Pharmaceutical Company, analyses its sustainable growth ability, starting from the major influencing factors of the sustainable growth ability, puts forward financial strategies to promote the company’s sustainable growth ability. This paper evaluates the sustainable gowth ability of small and medium-sized biopharmaceutical companies from financial perspective, helps small and medium-sized biopharmaceutical companies take rational use of financial resources, improve financial performance, optimize the allocation of funds, avoid financial risks, and promotes the sustainable growth ability improvement of the small and medium-sized biopharmaceutical companies.
