Research On Platform Strategy Of Jinyuan Company Based On Entrepreneur Ability

Platform economy is becoming a popular economic phenomenon. In fact, thebusiness model has existed in our living for a long time. Early example is farmersmarker, where vendors can make trades with residents. Reality trading spaces likeshopping malls, are provide trading place for consumers and sells. Virtual tradingplace like search engine, online games, E-commerce, internet baking and so on, all ofthem are the most platform business model at present. Platform business model isbreaking the traditional vertical thinking of value chain, to achieve exponentialgrowth of economic efficiency by cross-cutting connected. Therefore, platformstrategy becomes an important strategic model of enterprise transformation at present.Entrepreneur is a “middleman” between enterprise and market. Entrepreneurdominants enterprise and achieves self-worth by enterprise. The strategy of enterprisedepends on the decisions, choices and preferences of entrepreneur. This paper choseJinyuan company as a sample to research the platform strategy based on entrepreneurability. Firstly, I analyzed the connotations, dimensions, effects of entrepreneur ability;secondly, I chose Jinyuan as a research sample to expound Jinyuan how to chooseplatform strategy to achieve its transformation when it faced the dilemma ofindustrialization. Jinyuan broken the dilemma by setting up The Service of MedicalEquipment. The platform strategy of Jinyuan has three phases: selection, implement,government. I analyzed the behaviors and effects of entrepreneur in each phase indetail and summarized the corresponding entrepreneurial ability in each stage. Lastly,based on the research of Jinyuan Company, I expounded the relationship betweenentrepreneurial ability and platform strategy and built the mechanism of them, thenchose three typical platform leading enterprises from three industries to generallyanalyze.This paper uses SPS as the method of case analysis to research platform strategyof Jinyuan Company based on entrepreneur ability, reveal the relationship betweenentrepreneurial ability and platform strategy and set up the mechanism of platformstrategy based on entrepreneur ability.
