Infrastructure, especially transport infrastructure, is a national or regionaleconomic development and support the basic conditions. The quality of transportinfrastructure, and economic development has a close relationship. In recent years,as China’s economy continues to develop, our government investment in transportinfrastructure continues to increase. Investment in the construction of highways,high-speed railway and road transport infrastructure, such as the Hangzhou BayBridge land and sea transport channel. Although the quantitative point of view,China’s transportation infrastructure has made great progress, however, largedifferences between the country’s vast territory, between the region’s naturalenvironment and socio-economic environment. The same transport infrastructure topromote economic development in different regions of our country is not nearly thesame; the same time, the different factors affecting the transport infrastructure foreconomic development is different. Therefore, this article will affect China’seconomic development and the role of different factors on the impressiontransportation infrastructure in coastal areas, the central region and the westernregion of China’s economic development in the eastern part of the influence ofrelated studies on different factors affecting the transport infrastructure.Firstly, the relationship between transport infrastructure and regional economicdevelopment at home and abroad to collate relevant literature and described, basedon existing research-based presentation exists between the construction anddevelopment of transport infrastructure, regional economic relationship. Secondly,the status quo of the development of transport infrastructure in our country, based on the theory further explanation contact area of transportation infrastructure andeconomic development. Barrow again by building a type of growth model of China’s28provincial-level panel using1997and2012data, and verify the overall impact oftransport infrastructure for economic development from the empirical data front; atthe same time, on the eastern coastal and central regions and the western regions arefurther subdivided, respectively verify the effects of different factors ontransportation infrastructure and economic development in different regions at thesame time its analysis, the transportation infrastructure in the overall development ofChina’s economy has a role in promoting and transport infrastructure have a greaterimpact on the central and western areas of China’s economic disparities. Finally,based upon draw relevant conclusions proposes to develop a unified overall soundrules and regulations, clear responsibilities and obligations related to regionalgovernments, while promoting coordination between the relevant regionalgovernments cooperate in order to achieve large-scale transport infrastructure supply,to play its appropriate size and optimize organization of transport infrastructure, andpromote relevant policy recommendations to coordinate the different types oftransport infrastructure development.
