Comprehensive Competitiveness Evaluation Of Railway Freight Enterprise And Highway Freight Enterprise In The Region

Railway transport is the main mode of transport of goods in China. Along withthe continuous deepening of the reform of railway freight transportation, the railwayfreight enterprise appears the stage of the competition in the market economy asindependent and self-sustaining economic individuals. Railway freight enterprise isthe node of railway transportation and the hub which link up rail and other modes oftransport. In the face of pressure of the economic system reform and fierce marketcompetition, it is an urgent problem which needs to be solved as soon as possible howto improve the station’s competitiveness in the case of lack of market competitionexperience.In this paper, A Railway Freight Enterprise is seen as the research object. Itscomprehensive competitiveness evaluated, and a series of countermeasures tocultivate and improve its comprehensive competitiveness is proposed. Firstly,competitiveness theory is introduced, including its research background, researchstatus, basic properties, etc. then the evaluation index system of the competitivenessof railway freight enterprise is proposed. Secondly, the problem and developmenttrend of railway freight enterprise in our country is analyzed. Thirdly, method ofenterprises competitiveness evaluation is the key point of this paper. The combinationof synthetical index method, efficiency coefficient method, TOPSIS and factoranalysis is used to evaluate competitiveness of A Railway Freight Enterprise and BHighway Freight Station laterally. Mean percentage error and mean square percentageerror is applied to the validity and accuracy of the evaluation effect. Factor analysis isused to evaluate longitudinally. Strategies of the competitiveness is proposed.Finally,according to the analysis above, the development strategy of improving thecompetitiveness of A Railway Freight Enterprise is proposed, which includingstrengthening its infrastructure, improving MIS, forming strategic alliances with othermodes of transportation method and expanding logistics services content, providing areference for the development of other railway freight enterprises.
