Study On The Urbanization Of The New Generation Of Migrant Rural Workers

The new generation of migrant rural workers has gradually replaced the formal generation of migrant rural workers, becoming the main force of migrant workers. The new generation of migrant rural workers is apparently different from the formal generation, most of the new generation of migrant rural workers, who have strong willing of urbanization, are short of farming experience and have been lived in the city for a long time. But for the reason of many obstructive factors, the process of urbanization seem to be struggling. The new generation of migrant rural workers became social "sandwich layer", which brings a series of serious problems to the development of the new generation of migrant rural workers and rural and urban development. Thus accelerating the urbanization of the new generation migrant rural workers is the fundamental way to solve the problem. On the one hand, it can improve the ability of the new generation of migrant rural workers, and promote an overall development of them; On the other hand, it ensure social harmony and stability and promote the all-round development of social undertakings.The thesis study on the problem of urbanization of the new generation of migrant rural workers, guided by the population migration theory, human capital development theory, and other classic foreign labor transfer theory, using the knowledge of economics, sociology and psychology, adopted qualitative analysis, comparative analysis and other methods. This paper expounds the factors which hinder the urbanization of the new generation of migrant rural workers. it analyze the obstructive factors in the urbanization in detail, including the household registration system, employment system, social security system, rural land system, education system; At the same time, urbanization is limited by the lack of human capital stock, social capital and psychological adaptation; Finally, low level social relations, social public stigma and hysteretic urbanization rate also are considered as barriers. In the end of the paper, to solve the problem, reasonable countermeasures and Suggestions are put forward from different aspects, including promoting the reform of household registration system, gradually establishing a unified urban and rural labor market employment system, perfecting for new generation of migrant rural workers social security system, building system of new generation migrant children education, improving the ability of the new generation of migrant rural workers, providing social support environmental, and so on.
