From the perspective of input-output and external recognition,An indicator system of efficiency evaluation for Chinese military websites is constructed and modified by the correlation coefficient analysis and data test in this thesis. Then the efficiency of 25 Chinese military information websites are analyzed based on the C2 R Model in DEA and quantitative analysis. By an analysis of room for improvement and super efficiency,this thesis also gives suggestions to improve the efficiency of the non-effective websites.The result declares that 19 of these websites are related effective and the other 9 are non-effective. In the five kinds of sample sites, the actual efficiency of sites established by military academies and military academic research institutions is the highest, sites established by the mechanism and company with military background have the lowest efficiency value; To the single military sites, the efficiency value of Chinese military network and the Military Medical Science Academy of the PLA is the highest, efficiency value of China defense mobilization network is the lowest; The investment of non-effective military websites has a large degree of redundancy, and the output has a big room for improvement; The efficiency of military information websites are related to Total Number of Internal Links, Returning percentage, Website Access Speed, Outbound Link Percentage etc. It has nothing to do with Tagged percentage, Total Number of Web Pages and Easy to Reach Percentage. Compared with the comprehensive ranking, it shows that there is no direct link between efficiency ranking and comprehensive ranking of Chinese military information websites.
