Forests are the main terrestrial ecosystems, spread awareness of people to the traditional forest ecological functions, and on the forest carbon sink function of lack of knowledge. The forest area and growing stock volume in Yunnan separated from the third, second, has rich resources of forest carbon sequestration. Since in 2008 in Yunnan Province, the implementation of forest tenure reform, forest land area is small, the ownership dispersion feature highlights, Yunnan Province in 2008 in 12 counties of priority to the implementation of the forest carbon sequestration projects, trying to develop the green economy through carbon trading.It is of important theoretical value and practical significance to the selected in view of this, this paper selected at Yunnan Lancang County Donghui village to Li Bai Tuo group residential area forest as the object of study, through field investigation and measurement, the use of conversion factor function, estimation model, of small area forest carbon sink value evaluation, and combined with the local farmers forestry income, to investigate the effect of the small area of forest carbon sequestration value on Farmers’ income, the research value of small area of forest carbon sequestration estimation has a demonstration effect to establish a small area forest carbon sinks, the implementation of Yunnan Province of forest carbon sequestration projects. The main research contents and results are as follows:1 A small area forest carbon sequestration estimation method of two kinds of woodland conversion factor and accumulation of mathematical formula to prove. It is proved that the optimized conversion factor and accumulation of the function relation between small regional forest biomass estimation results better.2 Selected in Lancang County, Yunnan Province east to return home to Li Bai Tuo group forest land as the research object, through field investigation and field measurement, the master of the small area of forest on the basis of the data, using the method of conversion factor continuous function, to the small area of forest carbon sequestration value of quantitative evaluation, Baili properly set the forest carbon sinks is 38721.59 tons; if the existing forest land for a period of 20 years of rational utilization, establish small area forest carbon sinks estimation model.3 Domain forest carbon sink on the amount of Li Bai Tuo group Village area calculations, will be divided into three cases were analyzed and compared the carbon sequestration capacity prediction, reasonable amount of carbon sink to enhance 53358.35 tons. The value estimates show that carbon trading, farmers per capita income of forestry from the original 1167 yuan increased to 3066 yuan, carbon trading is farmers to protect forest resources and income an important way.
