Measurement Of Informatization Index And Study On The Contributions Of Economy In Anhui Province

With the rapid development of diffusion and innovation of Informatization. Emerging industry was generated by the widening use of IT application. Since 1950s, modern communication industry, software industry, information industry, the network industry and other emerging industries have been the important force for world economic growth. Influenced by information technology, parts of economic departments such as the production, management and service sector were undergone substantial change, with a highly productivity. All the countries are working on IT application to improve competitiveness. As the major province in the Middle China, Anhui province enjoy a high strategic advantages with the using of IT.The use of information technology to promote the transformation of Anhui’s economic development mode and social development is of great significance.Firstly, Based on the summary of research results of scholars both at home and abroad and the real information development of Anhui Province,16 sub-index were selected to reflect the level of information, analysis its polymerization for five categories of index using the principal components to construct the informatization index of 17 cities in Anhui province, combined with regional panel data of Anhui Province during 2000-2012, the result contributes to research on the characteristics and rules of informatization development in Anhui Province.Secondly, compared with the average level of informatization in Anhui Province, three categories measured the level of information of 17 counties in Anhui Province has been divided. Then, the three categories of information index were compared and we found that there are significant differences in the level of information by using the variance model.Thirdly, The Feder model in information industry was brought into theoretical research, we discuss the effect of informatization on economic growth path by employing the improved model (REBA model), the selection of panel econometric analysis method, empirical analysis of the impact on regional economic growth of informatization in Anhui province area in practice. And finally conclude that the informatization of Anhui province have an robust affection on economic growth.Finally, based on the comparison on informatization development in different cities in Anhui province, combined with the achievements and existing problems during the period,we have put forward several measures and suggestions for local government, entrepreneur and officials promoting the development in informatization.
