A Brief Study Of Express Efficiency Index Based On Multi-dimensional Implications

After the rapid development during recent years, the express industry which is related to our everyday life had become an important industry of people’s livelihood. The express efficiency which is short for the performance evaluation of the express corporation is the primary guarantee for the express corporation to take some advantages in the cruel market competition. The express efficiency is a multi-dimensional concept. The express corporation managers and frontline staffs can’t make full use of the original and multi-dimensional data which doesn’t have been simplified. The author tried to use the indexation method to describe the express efficiency. The express efficiency was considered as an multi-dimensional vector. To very component of the vector, the author developed the description of quantization and the method of unification of the measurement unit. On this basis, the full set of express efficiency indicators and the express efficiency index system contained a serial of target indices had been established. The express efficiency systems of three typical express corporations had been generated on the basis of qualitative value assignment. The validity of express efficiency index system had been proved by the qualitative analysis. At the end, the problems of practical application and the feasible solutions had been summarized. The inherent disadvantages of indexation and the method to improve had been pointed out. The prospects for indexation in the age of big data had been forecasted.
