Since the founding of New China, China experienced four stages:a politicized institution vacation leave system, the reformed vacation, the "Golden Week" vacation leave system and the new system. "Golden Week" holiday system played a big role in promoting economic development, but its negative effects are intensified. To improve this situation, the State Council promulgated the "National Holidays Approach" and "Workers Paid Leave Act" in December 16, 2007 and introduced in January 1, 2008. The new leave system includes two "Golden Week", the Spring Festival holiday and National Day, five small vacations, New Year, Qing ming, Labor Day, the Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival. This new model impacts the development of tourism. First, the residents characteristics showed enhanced travel will, more diversity travel time, increased short-term travel, personalized travel motivation and increased self-tour, Secondly, on the performance of tourism enterprises, travel agencies presented "October", "Golden Week" pressure, short-term tourism warming, corporate profits decline and operational difficulties; star hotel presented constantly upgrading, hotels gradual national distribution, catering and other income play an important role in operating income. Third, for tourist attractions,it is conducive to the protection of resources and the environment, development of the leisure resort area and labor intensive and staff specialization. Faced with the new features of these three aspects, our country should innovate vacation time and vacation concentration, promote paid leave system, on the other hand the tourism industry should optimize the structure of tourism products, and strengthen tourism Hotels resource integration, innovative tourism products and services and enhance the city tourist reception function.
