| With the development of Internet Technology, IT is applied for various industries. In order to suffice the different demand, people have developed a wide range of software products,the corresponding software projects become more and more. But there is a low efficiency and high cost of software projects, it is mostly related to the questions that software project management systems only focus on the local and lack an overall management system solutions. PDM (Product Data Management) is an enterprise information integration framework, highly integrates related software, manages all data related to projects and provides a collaborative work environment for project officers.Firstly, the paper briefly describes the current research of software project management and product data management at home and abroad, points out that the existing PDM technology can be applied for software project management and can solve some of the current problems of small-scale software project management.Secondly, it have analyzed software product features and redefined software products with combining with the PDM idea. On the basis, through analyzing the characteristics of software product formation process, we establish the appropriate process model. Simultaneously we study the key technologies of data management, project management and resource allocation in the software project management. Finally, we establish management field, application and implementation of the model.Thirdly, we conduct the demand analysis for the software project management system, put forward to the system frame of focusing on products, components, documents and projects, show the functional and data model of the system. We have also elaborated the implementation of major functional modules, such as the basic information, product, component, document and project management, at the same time give the examples of the system running.Finally, we make Summary and Outlook for the research and development work. |
