From the analysis of land consolidation of relevant theory, proposed land formation planning mentality, and agricultural land consolidation planning and design project study related standards and methods in and yang quan Nan Yu Xiang case study of agricultural land consolidation projection in three villages, combined with comprehensive analysis of the actual situation in rural areas for rural land consolidation planning and design methods. Finding as follows:(1)With software CASS6.1 conducting land leveling and farmland design, compared with traditional methods, the accuracy of earthwork calculation improves fivefold, and the planning efficiency fifteen times. (2)According to simplified theories of economic land-saving section design and simplified irragation and drainage planning, the irrigation ditch section is designed as a rectangle:its width is 0.8m and the water depth 0.65m, the irrigation ditch ration reduced to 1/2000,side wall lining depth 0.08m. The progect built irrigation ditch Ⅰ 589m and Ⅱ 8649m. The drainage ditch is designed as dou and nong ditches. To be specific, the dou ditch section is rectangular with its reduced ratio 1/2000, rough rate 0.016, bottom width 1.0m, water depth 0.65m, and freeboard 0.2m; the nong ditch section is also rectangular with its reduced ratio 1/1000, rough rate 0.016, bottom width 0.4m, water depth 0.365m, and freeboard 0.1m,area occupied reduced by 30%. (3) Based on software cass calculating farmland planning needs, the project rebuilt the previous 5 farmland paths into hard ones with their width 3.5m and 2.4m, earth depth 10 cm, cement concrete depth 15cm, and edge-slope ration 1:1; rebuilt the production road into 6 new ones with its width 2m, road surface depth 0.2m. All these reduced the production cost by 42%.
