Research On The Innovation Development Of Dalian Equipment Manufacturing Industry

The equipment manufacturing industry plays a strategic role in national economic development and the construction of national defense, its development level reflects a country’s comprehensive strength and the level of industrial development, besides, it directly affects the competitiveness of other industries. The Government work report of the CPPCC in 2015 pointed out that China need to accelerate the implementation of the "made in China 2025" strategy, which relying more on Chinese equipment and brands; besides, it need be deeply integrated Informationization and industrialization, improve process management and product quality, finally to promote Chinese manufacturing industry to become strong from large. In order to promote the accelerated development of the equipment manufacturing industry, the country has introduced a series of relevant policies. The equipment manufacturing industry occupies a large proportion in industrial economy in Dalian, which is the important growth point of national economy; it has become the first pillar industry of Dalian. As a human, technology and capital intensive industry, innovation capability of equipment manufacturing industry is becoming more and more important. Dalian must seize this favorable opportunity to develop equipment manufacturing industry through innovation-driven.This paper analyses the equipment manufacturing industry in Dalian, using the method of literature analysis and combining of quantitative and qualitative, theory analysis and practice analysis. Firstly, the paper explains the basic theory of innovation and development of equipment manufacturing from four parts which are the connotation and characteristics of industrial innovation, equipment manufacturing industry, innovation and development of equipment manufacturing industry and the influence factors of innovation and development of equipment manufacturing industry, providing a theoretical basis for the paper. Then, the paper analyzes its advantages and disadvantages. On the basis of the research, an innovation and development evaluation index system of equipment manufacturing industry containing 9 indicators is designed from three aspects which are creative resources investment, innovation transform, and innovation environment. It uses entropy method to establish an evaluation model of innovation and development of the equipment manufacturing industry based on entropy method, and evaluate the innovation and development of the equipment manufacturing industry of Dalian. Finally, Combined with the evaluation results, the paper put forward some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the innovation and development, from three aspects which are the government level, industry level and enterprise level.
