Maritime transportation is the important component to the development of world economy, it transports 80-90 percentage cargo of the world trade. With the operating of marketing economy in the early 1980s and the extension of overseas trade, shipping market has opened to the outside world much more than before. Almost 90 percentage cargo in our world is transported by sea,30 years’development also made our country an important position in the global shipping business, the focus of world shipping also began to transfer from Europe to Asia gradually. In order to adapt to the international shipping market, the reform measures of shipping companies such as re-capitalization and adjust transport capacity also made ship leasing market be merged.However, in contrast to the various studies about shipping financial lease, the studies about ship leasing are relatively fewer. The existing studies mostly concentrated on risk assessment and control about ship leasing and its financial decision-making, those about ship leasing mode simply stand at lessors’ perspective rather than at lessees’.This article focused on the profit maximization of lessees’ ship leasing mode, firstly elaborated the domestic and foreign research status of ship leasing and quantitative prediction; secondly defined its concepts, summarized the shipping charter market and made a comparison among differ-rent modes; thirdly analyzed the impact on shipping companies’ leasing from financial, non-financial and other aspects; on this basis, established a decision basis, analyzed and forecasted the relevant data based on the shipping company of 2015 to 2017, then analyzed the sensitivity; finally presented the options of ship leasing modes then summarized the whole article and looked forward the incoming researches.
